A long standing interest in textiles, particularly weaving and dyeing led me into making silk paper and cards. One day a friend asked me if I would make her wedding stationery. She was very pleased with the results and I enjoyed the process of designing and making so much that I decided to carry on!

My portfolio contains designs that have been handcrafted using natural and hand dyed silks to create "papers" which I embellish with dried flowers, petals, sparkly fibres and yarns, ribbons stitching and beading. Each of these designs is a "collage" of different colours and textures and slight variations in each one make each card unique.

My "silk" designs are ideal if you are looking for something a bit different. For those of you wanting a more understated look, I also do a range of simpler designs.

One recent addition to my range is "Black and White", whereby I commission a local artist to produce a pen and ink drawing of your church or venue. The drawing is transferred to the card of your choice and you can also choose to keep the artwork.

This year I have also expanded into ribbon printing and my wallets and pocket-folds with personalised ribbon are proving particularly popular.
